Welcome to my Writer's Sketchbook where I will be sharing poems, reflections, musings, art, and more.

Fly Fishing at Dawn
Fly fishing at dawn, Sappho, Harriet Tubman, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg are scaring the fish away. They’re
engaged in lively debate, creating a blend of time and space that’s sure to save humanity, when a bottle
floats downstream. Inside is a two-word message, “Just smile.” Laughter ripples across the water,
inviting fish back.
Neither lame or infirm,
Life calls out,
There is no count metering
the air that you breathe.
Give your meaning
freedom, in each moment. Please.
Take up your brush and sing your dance,
Spread your wings and soar into forever,
Your quill writing Your Life across the sky.

Dancing Little Giant
Quote from Where We Meet
You are invited
to a time long anticipated
Amidst trees, Humans are gathering
in a clearing around a fire
Eight generations are joining the circle,
young children arrive with curious anticipation
for the very first time
As this Once Upon A Time continues to unfold ...
Person, full of complexity and a drive to know,
tumbles past window’s edge … following Sound,
taking us on a journey of discovery,
walking with us through growth and change —
in this story
that speaks to all parts of who we are
